Um Mami Culinary Training

Um Mami by Melting Pot in Marrakesh aims to train the next generation of chefs.

  • The center offers an 7-week training program, taught by international trainers and local chefs, to facilitate entry into the hospitality and restaurant industry in Morocco.

  • The training concludes with a 4-week internship.

  • It focuses on practical workshops, combining a revision of classic techniques with the discovery of innovative know-how.

  • The program covers the fields of cooking, pastry, and baking.

  • The teaching approach is aligned with the latest sustainable development standards and green skills.

  • Finally, the center provides participants with its national and international network to enrich their professional journey.

Admission requirements

  • Be between 18 and 30 years old

  • Have a passion for cooking (with or without prior training)

  • Duration: 7 weeks of training + 4 weeks of internship

    Schedule: Classes from Monday to Friday

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Scholarships are available based on merit and financial needs. The scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis.
